Have you ever come across a story that's stuck with you, one you just could never forget?

Last Saturday, I went to a writing class in Colorado Springs. As one of the exercises, they asked us to name some stories that have stuck with us. Those that became unforgettable. And what is it about these stories that make them so?

One of those stories for me is Tuck Everlasting. I saw that movie when I was very young, and I've never forgotten it. I think it was the choice that Winnie had to make, the choice between marrying the fella she loved and living on this earth without the ability to die, or living a normal life and then dying. In the movie, Winnie realizes that life loses so much of its meaning if you just keep on going immortal in a mortal world forever. It's not a plot line that is easily forgotten.

How about you? Have you ever come across an unforgettable story? Tell me about it! I'd love to hear.

The book "THE DEBT" by Angela Hunt reached to the depths of my soul. Read it and you will see what I mean.
